Tornado just in the clouds all around my place today, just touched down to the tree tops they said, but still had winds about 80 mph, lots of tree limbs and some trees down in north Okc.
I have got a new plan for my Scimitar. I talked to Walt in New York for quite a while about the best drive and ratio for it. I'm going in with the new motor, 360/380 hp, and the Alpha drive with a 1.47 gear ratio. I'll be starting with a 13 3/4 X 24 pitch stainless Ballastic three blade. I'm hoping to see a top speed 68/70 mph, got my fingers crossed.
I got the new alpha transom assy, gimble housing and all today, and new trim cylinders, with a little break in the weather I'll get it all put together in the next few days. With this combination. I still got a little work to do on the trailer I got for it, it should be ready for the shake-down run next week.
