Hi Bill

I know it can be confusing hooking up the automatic bilge pump, hooking it up to a lighted demand switch on a console.  I like to use a good dize pump, 750 to 1000 gph, with a seperate float switch, not a built in.  I use the ground wire to interupt the float switch, as well do I use a ground wire up to the lighted switch on the console,  I think thats the most common, but ya see them hooked up both ways,  I just like reducing the number of hot contacts behind the panel.

I got the new motor fired up in the Scimitar today, it sounded reall good, started right up, always make me feel good when they do that.  I'll take it out for a shakedown run tomorrow evening.  My buddy Michael is bringing hus GPS to check the speed, thats gonna be exciting.

Howdy Red, Nice work on the" through the transom" exhaust installation ! I am still scratching my head, trying to figure out how to hook up a new bilge pump replacement in mine. I hope your finger is healing up quickly !!! Take care and God's blessings. Sincerely, Pelican Bill

New Exhaust System

Got it all installed today,  I left the original "Y"Pipe installed, and capped it, so if it's too loud I can just install the original elbows and send the exhaust back through the prop, and cap the through transom pipes.
