I think I finally got the Scimitar motor running like it should.  T throwed away the power valve from the carborator, put a plug in the hole and installed new larger jets.  I took out the Mallory distributor, and put on the Thunderbolt Mercruiser ignition.  I put in new spark plugs and done a compression check, new fuel filter.  It started right up on the water hose, and sounded better than ever,  I haven't got to take it to the lake yet, but I think it will do just fine.

I took it to the Glastron Meet at Lake Texoma the 30th of May, and come back the 1st of June, had a great time,  the boat ran pretty good about 90% throttle and we got some good pic's.
