1983 SCIMITAR FOR SALE

Welcome to the site David !

Thats a pretty Scimitar you have there,  did you buy it from the fellow in Washington a couple years ago,  or was it in Canada.

I got mine in Chesapeake City, Maryland, and George got his in Tucson Arizona,  Bill lives there in California, he got his in Texas,  there are some more guys here that have them but they have not re-posted them since the computer crashed a few months ago but I figure it will pick back up again come spring.

What kind a price you expecting out of the boat ?  I know what it takes to get one in that condtion also,  I've done two of them in the last two years myself.  what kinda speed ya get out of that one,  was the motor pumped up any ... wanna Race

I quess I need to apoligize for not paying more attention to the site, but I been building on to my house for a couple months and when I come in I'm  Bushed.

Glad to see ya here,  stay in touch

1983 SCIMITAR FOR SALE

I'm new to this site, and I'm not sure how many of you are out there.....particularly in the dead of winter.I have a nice '83 in Factory colors of met.brown & beige. She has a new 350 w/almost no hrs.,rewly rebuilt outdrive,Brand new T-tops (correct) and  brand new molded, smoked and correctly formed winglets (4).She also has a brand new OEM windshield (try to find one of those !).Upholstery and carpet are good w/ no rips oir tears, and the canvas is fairly new and in good condition with an oversized rear window (it makes the interior seem much larger)She also has the factory aluminum trailer with fresh sripes and brand new tires and tasteful mag wheels. Also new updated LED tailights. I bought her 2 yrs ago because I loved the boats and was lucky to find one.I have a show truck that has won many awards and I was going to put on the "final touches" on this boat and show her,but my wife talked me into moving to the desert last year.Needless to say there are not alot of  boat shows here. She needs to be on the water where people can see her and she can get the attention she deserves.Price is yet to be determined.I know what I have into her and I'm open to reasonable offers once somebody has a chance to see her.I live in Southern Oregon very near the Calif. border. I'll download a couple of pictures if I can figure it out how and will answer your e-mail if you are interested in communicating with me with questions,etc. .I'm @  dhyatt@clearwire.net  thanks,David
