Auke, yes, there is a Lot of flotation strips up in there, maybe 20 or more strips about 3 X 4 X 48 inches long pushed up under the tank area, and there are several affixed up underside the bow. Those strips were also all under the floor
I got the gas tank section removed, I used a laser level to set up the jig under the hull to assure it being true, there was a 1/4 inch dip in the port side about the middle of the hull, it's certainly strait now. I removed the center and the port stringer, the center came out fairly easy but the port stringer removal was a Bear, the back half of it was bonded like new.
