Tweeking The Prop

I took the prop for my Scimitar to the prop doctor yesterday for surgery,  Dr.DeWayne, he ground the blades thinner making almost a knife edge, added a little more pitch, curled the tips, balanced it and polished it back to a mirror finish.

I took it right out to the lake with a full tank of gas, calm water and it ran 65.2 by the GPS, trimmed up @ 4800 rpm.  I'm anxious to run most of the gas out of it and run it in some choppy water, thats where it has run it's best speed,  and the more chop it seems like the faster it runs, we'll see.

I took a couple pic's of it over at party cove.
