I'm from Canada and I'm happy to be part of such a club! I bought my 1980 Scimitar from a friend that had it in his family for decades...I never thought he would sell it but last summer I got the call and 5000Km later I have it tuned up and ready for this summer!
Welcome to the site Larry ... and you are Right .. they all think it's the James Bond boat ... lets not tell them any different ... I'm Loving it ... LOL
That 1980 looks in great shape! I have one just like it (inherited from my Father). Lots of great memories in that boat. Im hoping to get it back in the water within the next year or so. There arnt too many of these things left in Canada. Everyone just stares when you drive by!
You are doing some good work there Eric, I LOVE those Intimidators, that was on my search list when I found my Scimitar. I got a motor that would put the speed of that Intimidator in the high 70's ya know ... Hang On !
I'd like to graft the stern deck of an Intimidator onto the back of my Scinitar ... like I need to make more noise.

i think next time i post pics, he boat will be just about done, i having all the seating redone right now, putting the floor back in, then carpet, reset the seating, and then buff her out the best i can, should look tens times better by then, i workin on gettin a mint condition original intimidator on the classic glastron website.
Ahoy GFG, Wow, this is better than the stock market.....I hope these boats keep increasing in value at this rate! Hmmmmm.....very interesting, I will check the Craig's listing and see if it is still posted there. So Eric, how is your Scimitar restore project going? How about giving us all a photo update here. Best regards, Pelican Bill
