dear community, another one did come to life. To make a long story short, the floor and nearly everything underneath of it was extremely rotten or pulverized. A complete restoring was necessary because it affected the stability of the whole construction. Now, a formerly soft wagging of the roof, in medium or strong waves, is completly gone. It is now strong as a rock and much more fun driving it . We tried to keep the very original colours of the interior and found a synthetic leather that matched perfectly on the new bench and seats. In total it took us about 400 hours of labour work and after resembling it you do not really see a change, if you are not standing very close to it. lol
All the credits of the restoration goes to my slovenian relatives, Claudio (my right hand), Tine (fiberglass-work), Ivo (mechanics) and Stefan (motor overhaul), who helped to preserve the "showgirl" for a coming decade of unlimited fun at the adriatic sea.
And again, thank you Ole, we wouldn`t have started it without the perfect documentation of your work which HELPED A LOT !!!
