RE: cliff notes on a scimitar

Hi Loran

Welcome to the site

I got a little advice for you about the scimitars, but it would be a lot easier for me for you to just give me a phone call, I don't have much time to spend on the computer anymore.

emailme for my number

cliff notes on a scimitar

 Hi to all,

I really cringe to call myself a newb but I guess in this crowed that's what I am.

I am wondering if some of you fine people could clue me in to the cliff notes of the problem areas of scimitars. Ergo what to look for when buying and what  repairs to address  once you own.

I am just starting to see what is out there. I do have plenty of experience. I grew up in Northern Mn. (10,000 lakes and all that bs)  1st job after high school was in a OMC shop in Dillingham AK. worked in a few others to include merc. mercruise, yam, omc . have owned many boats in my life ACCEPT A SCIMITAR and now I can afford one and plan it to be my last build. My idea of retirement is doing 60+ across Beauty Lake. So if anyone feels like giving an old dog some advise it would be much appreciated.

Thanks. Loren
