Anyone got a Jeep ?

Besides Me and the fox  ?

I know this is  " Off Topic "  for sure --- but read on for a minute please.

As I broadcasted a couple weeks ago,  Me and the Fox are moving on from the boat world, we have got into the Jeeps in the last couple years, and Loving it !

The first scheduled event we attended was in Disney, OK.  the event was called "Crawl for Christ" an Unbelievable event dedicated to sharing God's word with other jeep and rock crawler enthusiast around the country.  There was at Least a hundred other jeeps and rock crawlers there, a Great fellowship hall, with a great breakfast and meals each day, entertainment was Great, and funny, a Great raffle sponsored by national jeep and rock crawler companies, Hundreds of items, guided trail rides, every kind of trail on the books, we took our jeep on the moderate trails, had a Great guide, and had the best time of our lives there> For those of you that don't know, Disney is located at the dam of Grand Lake, Langley on the west side of the dam, and Disney on the east side, the dam is a narrow road about a mile long.

Fireworks were set off two nights, the most Dynamic fireworks display we have ever seen, and lasted 25 minutes each night.  We stayed at Russ Hogans camp ground, but a Lot of the folks stayed at the church camp grounds, Nice accommodations there also.  WE have attended two other events there since the "Crawl for Christ" event and had a Great time, just Unbelievable terrain up there, and only a 3 1/2 hour drive from Oklahoma City.

The purpose of this post is to help get the word out that we are going to be attending that event again this year, and would LOve to see some of our boating friends show up there with us, it will be a Blast, and totally family friendly, the kids Love it, and they got other stuff for the kids too, it's just Great.

You don't have to have a rock crawler to attend, our jeep is a 1951 Willys and our guide was sure to take the trails we could "stay up" with, but he kinda chuckled when he realized our little 51 Willys had a 4.3 V6 vortec, 427 gear ratio, auto trans and power steering, it really does pretty good on the trails.  Since last year, we have done a couple modifications to our Willys, 31" swampers, softer suspension, new steering system, lockers, and a new exhaust system, it really surprises us where this little thing will go.

If you think you would like to make this event with us, I'm including a few "links" and video's of the event, and from last year.

Me and the Fox is Gonna be there, we've been looking forward to this trip since last year, it's a Great time !
