Red,

I knew as soon as you put the little house boat up for sale it would come a good rain!no I am truly sad you paid out so long on those slips and no water to stomp around in... I had the boats ready at the house incase the water from our creek got up to high. Is there a chance you will get to run the little boat before you let it go? if so I can run up there and go for a ride..biggrin

RE: Thank you Rain!

Hello Kirby,

It's good to hear from you and any friend of Reds is a friend of mine! I have been watching your posts on your Scimitar and I think its pretty awesome you are re doing it, I have had a chance to get a little hands on with Red and his that he has had over the years. My avatar is of my 1972 V-177 Swinger, I bought it last summer from a good person down in Austin, Tx. by the name of Joe Morris. He would only sell it to me if I agreed to take care of it and enjoy it as if I had bought it new my self, It's in and I stress the word "MINT" condition. Like you I grew up with one of these in my family and it to is what I learned to water ski behind. Where are you located? I would love to meet up with you and enjoy some good fun..

What is the Boat in you're avatar?  My dad had a 73 Glastron swinger tri hull, for many years,  in fact he just sold it in 2010, but that is the boat I learned to ski behind, several near death cases on a tube, and I Learned how to drive a boat in.

Hey, Mike!!  Congrats on the site!  Yes the rain is a blessing in deed.  I have never boated in or around OKC, but would like to meet up with ya some time.  Ole Red has become a good friend, I stop by his place from time to time, and call him often for advice, so maybe we can meet up sometime.

hope you all are buttoned down and dealing with the storms ok.

Thank you Rain!

Hello to all of our members & friends,

I can honestly say that I am thank full for this much needed rain, I hope it fills up the local Okc Hefner Lake. It is almost empty... But it is also giving me a little extra time to get the new tunes installed.

Mike
