RE: Alaska Boat Camping

Dr Doom,

All I can say is WOW! I am impressed with your sense of adventure and the fact that you get out on the Pacific ocean, I have always wanted to adventure around the Texas coast line or haul my boat with me to Gulfport, Ms. when I go on training orders for the Navy Res. There is private access to the back water from Keesler AFB located in Biloxi, Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. If I get the chance I will take a boat next time.

Here are the marine maps of my boating playground, I go everywhere on the maps including the Pacific ocean. I like to do 3 long runs out to the pacific ocean to play on the swells a year and lots of local runs 30 miles out or less.    Dr. Doom

Hello Dr. Doom,

I would have to say, that is one tricked out Scimitar... And you have one truly loyal wing dog. How often & far do you boat travel? I can see where the Scimitar would make for a good cold/brisk weather boat. I was with Red when he took his down the river back in 2010.
