RE: New guy...

I apologize Bill,

Please post some pictures of those beautiful boats on the "Me & My Boat" thread so we can enjoy them with you. Present and past..

Take care

RE: New guy...

Mr. Bill,

First let me say welcome to the site. Those trim wires can get messed up pretty easy so I would double check those in the motor compartment and then I would use a meter to check to see if my switch is pushing current. Sorry for the lack of info but this is becoming a more frequented site and I hope the info will follow.

Now there may be more info about trim on the Minnesota site that might help, it has been around for a while.

New guy...

Hello,

Just acquired 11th boat, red  1988 cvx23. Well played with, runs well, hope to use it this summer and then do some restoration this winter.

3rd Glastron, (second Carlson was a GT150 ) this ones a keeper. I'll post images soon.

One issue that I haven't found any posts related to is the trim switch will not lift the outdrive every time it's used. Both limit switch and trim sender were

replaced 2 seasons ago. I've ran the boat 4 times now and it's only worked a few times, I've had to use the trailer switch to trim up.

I've followed all the directions to adjust the sender and the indicator works just fine, no matter how I adjust the limit switch no joy.

Cheers, kind regards to you from Stafford NY!

Bill
