RE: Scimitar camping

My Scimitar only gets 4 miles per gallon so on the cold days I just put on my snowmobile suit to stay warm when parked somewhere camping.   Dr. Doom

Dr. Doom,

How long do you leave the motor running before you call it lights out? It's I sure a sweet set up and with the pup bringing a little heat it's probably so of the best rest you get.

When my wing dog Lucy tucks in under the sleeping bag then it gets nice and comfy as it gets cold later into the night. Alaska does not hold the day warmth all night like farther south.

Dr. Doom,

It looks like you can camp pretty primitive, Do you stay pretty warm?

Pick straight up and the seat is out of there, the base is under the sleeping bag. The center vent is the cabin heater and on top of dash is the windshield defroster vents with a 2 speed motor, heat comes from running engine. Heater system was a factory option and needed for Alaska, low 60 in summer or colder.

That's awesome. You have the passenger seat setup to take out easily? Do you just remove it from the base? What's with the extra vent in the center console? I'm so envious of your boating playground. I hope to see it one day!
