Hi Kirby, if you want to take care of jet skis you will need 450 HP for your highly classified Scimitar X Project as the fastest ones go 73 mph after you reprogram to bypass the governor. I,m stuck with 70 mph because I have a EFI salt water engine and the wipple blower company can't get the blower to work well with Mercurys EFI. Dr. Doom

Yes I am, I also have a belly tank that I'm going back with. My boat did not come with a motor or out drive, so I am having one custom built. don't want to let too any secrets out tho!!!
Now are you talking about the famous Ole Red transom mod? If so that thing will surely pick up speed, did you do anything or are you doing anything to the motor?
It's been several months now, but stringers are in and I got the top half set back down on the hull of my boat!!!! Don't know if it was Devine intervention or if I actually did something right, but every screw went right back into its old hole.
I guess seeing some Picts of Robert's boat gave me some motivation!
Now just have to cut old transome skin out and put new in with transome modification, and get her fitted for new "to me" trailer then on to the next part of this project... Now what Red
