they are different, in fact, when I picked up the original tops I picked up two for the right side, so I had to modify one for the left side, the good one is the one that stuck.
I just need to make some more off the fiberglass one's I made, they fit good, I had them sitting up on some foam tape when I shot them on the boat, so the edges would get coated.
thanks Red, you know better than me, but if the t-tops are "square", wouldn't one mold work for both sides? I don't know, I didn't look at mine, maybe you already know.
Hi Steve, I painted the "t" tops a color that was a close match to the boat first, but when I sprayed the flake and resin on them they turned brown, I'm going to have to do those again. and By The Way ! I'm going to have to make some more molds for those, one of them stuck and ruined one, I'll do the next one's different,I'll get some more made soon.
it's too late to call ya, but I was looking at the pics and maybe you posted about this on another forum or somewhere here, but I did read somewhere that you said the t-tops didn't match (which I can see in the pics), so why do you think that happened? did you shoot them differently?
All Day Deal ... I got to agree with everyone else I've talked too that has sprayed on the gel coat with flake, it's a BIG job, but with a little more luck when I put the clear on it, it will be worth it.
Barb came over and helped, done most of the cleaning and masking, good thing too, she held the air hose off the boat for me while I was inside the boat spraying the top and inside the back ... thanks again Barb.
